About Me

My hometown Shanxi is best known in China (and hopefully one day in North America) for its dazzling array of noodle dishes, passed down through the generations for almost 2000 years. Some are shaped like cannolis, some like lattice work; there are over 100+ types of noodles in all, many made with oat, buck wheat or other high fiber content flours. I hope to share with you some of the quirkiest and tastiest among them over time. I hope you enjoy it!
